About the event

Deck your bikes out with festive lights and come ride with us for our second annual Christmas Bike Light Ride.  Last year we had an awesome turnout and look forward to seeing even more people this year. We will ride through the Phoenix Field neighborhood north of the bike park for a 2 mile loop and end up back at the Bike Park for some apres ride marshmallow roasting and hot coco (courtesy of Dutch Bros) around a propane fire pit.

The event is free, however, Family FreeRide is asking for a $4 donation per person to raise funds for the Fair Oaks Food Bank via cash or venmo. (last year we asked for canned food donations but figured this would be better)

Please RSVP on this page to be qualified for best decorated ensemble with prizes including 4 woom bike lights and 3 woom bike pumps and Bike Park Shirts and Hats, and so we know how much hot coco and marsh mellows to bring.

Helmets and forward facing bike lights are required (duct tape and flashlights work).

To Decorate your bike, get creative - you can buy battery powered LED light strips through amazon or even at local stores like Ross/TJ Maxx, that stick  to bike frames or weave between wheel spokes, just be careful when transporting bikes because the strips can get damaged and rip easily.  Activ Life LED Bike Wheel Lights worked really well last year.
